Let’s find out what the New Testament says about the promised pastor-the one who overcomes.
By overcoming, this person is able to become a son of God and receive and inheritance from God (Rv 21:7). By overcoming, he is able to receive the fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God, the hidden manna, the white stone that represents authority to judge (Rv 2:7; Rv 2:17), and the iron scepter that rules all nations (Rv 2:26-27). Because he overcomes, the name of New Jerusalem-the holy city coming down from heaven-as well as God’s name and the new name of Jesus are recorded on him (Rv 3:12). He will sit with Jesus on his throne and work together with him (Rv 3:12). By overcoming he becomes New Spiritual Israel and creates the twelve tribes. He established the kingdom and priests of God and works to serve him (Rv 1:5-6; Rv 5:9-10; Rv 7, 12, 14). God’s kingdom does not come and there are no blessing if the promised pastor cannot overcome, because the devil who opposes God must be defeated.
We, in Shinchonji, have overcome (Rv 12:7-11). We are establishing God’s kingdom according to the blueprint in heaven (Rv 21). Everyone will receive a reward according to what he has done.
